HISTORY
It was in 1981 that the first successful IVF procedure was performed in the United States. One year later, Dr. Carlos Sueldo began his IVF fellowship at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. After graduating in 1984, Dr. Carlos Sueldo became one of the pioneers of IVF in the United States. Later in the same year, he founded the Central California In-vitro Fertilization Program.

For over 30 years, we have offered personalized, confidential assistance to tens of thousands of couples experiencing difficulty with their fertility. With the assistance of our nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and certified medical assistants, Dr. Michael Synn and Dr. Carlos Sueldo have been committed to providing a caring environment, emotional support and education tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Originally housed at Community Regional Medical Center, the program was transferred in 2006 in order to facilitate the development of a new women's service pavilion. This development required a relocation to Clovis Community Medical Center, where our practice is now located in a brand new state-of-the-art medical facility.
The embryology laboratory in our office is equipped with the latest technology. This allows all modern procedures to be performed in order to provide the best possible care for our patients. Our embryologists, as well as our andrologists, are all highly trained and certified by the State of California as well as the American Board of Bio-analysts (ABB).
We are committed exclusively to providing the best level of quality for our patients. This means the latest technology and expertise in the treatments that we provide. Since Dr. Synn became medical director of the IVF program in 1998, he has helped grow the program to its current state of success.
